I hadn’t been home after Cornwall for long periods so like the plants I hadn’t seen the little mouse Percival I had saved for a little while. He needed a good clean out which doesn’t take me long now. At first when I got him out of the cage he used to bolt but now I put him in a warm towel by the cage as I clean it out.

By doing this he more or less falls asleep every time and remains very calm. Which is the main thing. Not what I need an injured wild mouse running around my bloody house!

While I was away I put plenty of food in his cage but when I got back my mother had also been around and had obviously put more food in the cage. I actually think he is now twice the bloody size! You can’t really see him in the picture below but he is a lot bigger (fatter).

Because I have split all the plants up into separate pots I do not know what type of chili each one is. Which is quite cool really.

What I did notice is that only one of the chili’s has a flower growing on it which is quite pretty really.

Sundays game may not go ahead because they are playing in a cup final in the evening. So today’s game may well have Been my last for a year or so. I still haven’t made up my mind what I want to do next year. If not to play football next season or not.

Its going to be really tough to make a decision as I know I will miss all the lads and leading them out each week. But life moves on, Ill have to wait and see.

Me and the guys at work are so stoked about playing the new multiplayer. We have been playing Halo 3 now for about 2 years non stop. I personally think it is still easily the best online multiplayer.

There is now plenty of Reach gameplay videos on YouTube, and gaming sites including Bungie.net. All showing the new maps including Boneyard which looks immense. I’m sure me and Steve will be blogging once we get into the beta cannot wait to get my hands on a brand new Spartan!

Once up this morning we knew we had to be out of Sanctuary Cottage so we spent all of our time packing and cleaning.

Me and Steve wanted to go surfing before we headed back home. I knew Bude gad a swell of at least 5ft so we headed to Crooklets beach while the girls shopped in Bude.

The surf did not disappoint with me getting wiped out within 2 minutes of being in the water. Big mistake, getting ahead of myself!

The surf ended up being at least 6ft at times and took us by surprise at times swamping us with each wave converging on us 3/4 seconds apart.

Once the tide started to really head in we headed out and decided to head for home. It has been a great weekend and dont really want to go home or back to work. I really do love Cornwall.

We drove to Widemouth Bay next to Bude and spent the next couple of hours freezing our feet hands and scalps. But enjoying it at the same time.

First day in Cornwall and there is no surf. Our farm cottage Sanctuary is awesome. We decided that we would explore some of the local sites.

I have been to all the towns and villages in the local area. My favourite village in Cornwall has always been Bosscastle. So I decided to take Steve and Krista there for the first time.

We walked to the top of the cliff at the top of the little port town. Bosscastle flooded in 2002 and a lot of the town was damaged and destroyed but it has been rebuilt by the local community.

Tomorrow there will be surfing.

Im going to write my posts each day while away and post them as and when I can as I do not have any Internet connection in many places.

Me and Steve took the day off today to get ready for our few day trip to Cornwall. We ended spending most of it chilling and eating McDonalds and panicking when we had to leave but we got it done in the end. With boards on top and boot full to burst we set off!

Because the days are longer and the nights are coming later it was still light when we arrived. The little cottage we have rented is pretty awesome and is a mile walk from the nearest beach called Duckpool.

Really looking forward to getting out and having a surf now.

I have been able to have a free reign on the site design which has been great as creativity flows best this way. I have been able to post a couple of segments of the sites design to Dribbble for feedback. All received is good so far.

Dan Mullineux who runs the project I am currently doing seems like a great guy and is very keen to see what I can come up with. It also helps he really loves what I’ve created so far.
