Exploration
First day in Cornwall and there is no surf. Our farm cottage Sanctuary is awesome. We decided that we would explore some of the local sites.
I have been to all the towns and villages in the local area. My favourite village in Cornwall has always been Bosscastle. So I decided to take Steve and Krista there for the first time.
We walked to the top of the cliff at the top of the little port town. Bosscastle flooded in 2002 and a lot of the town was damaged and destroyed but it has been rebuilt by the local community.
Tomorrow there will be surfing.
The tough old task of driving to Cornwall
Im going to write my posts each day while away and post them as and when I can as I do not have any Internet connection in many places.
Me and Steve took the day off today to get ready for our few day trip to Cornwall. We ended spending most of it chilling and eating McDonalds and panicking when we had to leave but we got it done in the end. With boards on top and boot full to burst we set off!
Because the days are longer and the nights are coming later it was still light when we arrived. The little cottage we have rented is pretty awesome and is a mile walk from the nearest beach called Duckpool.
Really looking forward to getting out and having a surf now.
All i need now is a VW
I have had a pretty cool weekend so far. Today we won our sunday league game 3-2 after going 0-2 down! Pretty good result.
All I can keep thinking of now though is buying my VW van I have been in eBay all weekend. Checking out this van I have been following and it currently has 1 day left. If I do buy this van then I think my life will change in the next few months.
If I go ahead and buy the van I will post up the news tommorow lets hope I buy the van!
Wolfies
Tonight I went out for dinner for one of my girlfriends friends birthdays. Wolfies only opened around 10 days ago bit is already doing well.
With awesome American food on the menu you cant really go wrong! I had a dozen spicy chicken wings which were very reminiscent of my trips to Hooters in the USA.
