Shit that’s a lot of snow

I awoke this morning to 2 foot of snow and a house with blocked drains! Not the best start to the day. I headed into the garden and proceeded to try and unblock the pipe work.

It took me and two very helpful neighbours who had also been snowed in over 6 hours to get the pipes unblocked.

Once cleared we realized it was the builders who had poured some cement and plaster down our toilet when they built it. I then couldn’t stop being busy and found myself building a snowman. Which ended up being about 8 foot!

I thought he turned out very well if a bit large! No birds have landed near my front lawn since.

The days snow antics didn’t end there later in the day I found someone willing to give me a lift into work. I found some of the guys at work building an igloo which I helped them finish! Very impressive. Think we are also thinking about holding a competition for someone to come and stay in there the night. We’ll find out more about that tomorrow!

I wonder how much snow will fall tonight :s
