Growing chili’s

I enjoy cooking quite a bit and love nothing more than adding fresh chili, garlic, rosemary along with many other garnishes and herbs to my dishes.

So I was quite pleased this Christmas when Freya got me lots of different types of chili seeds to grow my own chili’s. I planted them Christmas day as I knew the longer you leave the packet seeds the less likely they were to grow.

I planted 5 different types of chili seed in one large container which I have to keep indoors over winter. While I was away in Wales I got my parents to water them for me. Now only 10 days later I can see at least 6 seedlings popping up. So I am naturally very pleased. There is something extremely exciting and satisfying about growing your own food and plants. I will be sure to post more updates on how the seedlings are doing.
